I have been dying to share Meredith and Bernie’s adorable love story ever since we took these photos! I first met Meredith a few years ago through mutual photography friends when I was looking for a second shooter for a wedding. It didn’t work out for us to shoot together at that wedding, but we eventually got to work together on a wedding and then a year later, she reached out to me asking to book a session with me to celebrate her and Bernie’s two year anniversary. They were so go with the flow about the session; mostly knowing they wanted casual date night in the city vibes. Sometimes, spending time together is the whole thing, you know? The journey really is the destination. If you’ve been here long, you know I am an obnoxiously loud advocate for romanticizing every single moment of your life (including your love story!) because time is so fleeting! Mer + Bernie romanticized a little summer sunset date night in the West Village.
