Kirsten + Cody | Midwest Sunflower Anniversary Session
So full disclosure… this is my sister. We shared a bedroom for 14 years, sleeping in a bunk bed that our grandfather had built for us. Then, when we both got our own rooms, I ended up sleeping in her bedroom most nights anyway. We’re only two years apart, I was the maid of honor in her wedding a few years ago, and when I planned a recent trip home, she immediately texted me, “PLEASE carve out some time for Cody and I! The sunflowers should be in bloom and we want you to take photos of us!”
Despite all my years living in the midwest (born and raised Ohio, baby!), I had never once seen or remembered seeing the sunflowers in bloom. I jumped at the opportunity, especially because it also meant getting to boss around my older sister for an hour- not a bad gig. AND they were pretty cool about letting me test out my new drone 😎
My first sunflower anniversary session, and hopefully not my last!
