Weiley + Terrence: West Village Engagement
In exactly one week, these two will join hands, say “I do!” and walk down the aisle together as man and wife! I figured that it’s about time I get their engagement session up on the blog so that I can share their wedding photos after the celebration!
We hear about how much work long-distance relationships are, and how they never work out, and how it’s just asking for trouble and blah blah blah. But Weiley and Terrence’s love has restored my hope in that long-distance-is-dead notion. Not even 3,000 miles of wide open spaces could keep them apart.
Weiley and Terrence met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in LA, while Weiley was living in NYC. Can you imagine meeting your dream woman in LA- your home- only to find out that she lives across the country in NYC?! I’d be so mad 😂! But Terrence couldn’t let it go! He friended Weiley on social media, and 6 months later he was boarding his flight to New York to come visit a very special certain someone. HOW ROMANTIC!! I know we’re all suckers for grand gestures, and this one was no exception! As if that wasn’t enough, Terrence decided to just go ahead and LITERALLY MOVE to New York! I know, I know. We’re all crying here.
During their engagement session, they were both cracking jokes the entire time and we were all cracking up. Oh- and we danced…. a lot. My favorite clients are the ones who aren’t afraid to bust a move in public. I feel so so grateful that they’ve asked me to be a part of their wedding day in the biggest way! I’m excited to spend my day celebrating the two of them and their incredible love story that 100% made me believe in fairytales and grand romantic gestures!
